OUR PURPOSE 
 The Upper Room Prayer Ministry exists to serve the greater purpose of God, to cover our pastor, our church, community and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer. The Upper Room Ministry is dedicated in challenging believers to a deeper prayer life. We are committed to leading believers into a biblical understanding of prayer and providing the information and motivation to put biblical teaching about prayer into practice.  This ministry is committed to the equipping believers in the areas of intercession, spiritual warfare, fasting and healing. These areas are critical in developing and maintaining a powerful and effective prayer life. They are also integral to the understanding and practice of prayer. To love God, love others as ourselves, and be disciples of Christ who make disciples of Christ. We strive to communicate and celebrate well while being Biblically-centered, prayer-founded, grace-driven, mission-oriented, disciple-making, ever-reforming and always making a priority of the next generation.
 God has given every believer the privilege of prayer. Through Jesus Christ, we now have an open door to God, "For through Him we both have access by one spirit unto the Father" (Ephesians 2:18) We have the opportunity to speak to God and to listen to him. Prayer is God's gift to the believer. We must learn how to pray (Luke 11:1)
